7 Days to Die just had a huge free upgrade released with the Dead Hot Summer 3.0 update, bringing with it lots more gameplay customization.

In terms of general gameplay and what you can tweak – it’s probably one of the biggest updates to the game.

The biggest addition to the game is the new sandbox customization options, giving you 150 different features you can tweak to entirely change the gameplay.

It’s your world – it should be your rules, and so they’re giving you the tools to finally play it how you actually want to.

For those players who don’t want to tweak everything they’re also including classic difficulty presets along with a bunch of extra pre-sets to play the game in specific ways like having slower zombies that’s more melee focused.

A lot more came with this update including a new sign system for points of interest, new Magnitude variants for looted weapons / tools / mods and more, new points of interest to find and explore and a lot more.

7 Days to Die has typically been pretty buggy – with this update also fixing up lots of issues.
