Minecraft Java Edition 26.2 ‘Chaos Cubed’ only recently launched, and Mojang are already smacking those keys to hook us up with more new content.
On June 23rd, the first snapshot (a testing build) was put up containing the first set of new features and tweaks to the game to prepare for the next update to drop.
Hopefully with this release they can finish up the peer to peer multiplayer, which was sadly remove from 26.2 as it wasn’t quite ready.

I’m quite excited for this update to fully release, which should be before the end of the year – hopefully sometime in Q3 (before the end of September).
